One to watch?

Okay guys,

Well seems as this forum is moderately quiet i thought i would pose the question... Which player, tribe etc are the ones to watch?

Always intruiging having the initial thoughts as opposed to the final outcome, W30.net was a great one for seeing the development of some top 20 tribes through to top 5 etc.

I don't wish to be bias because as most know im baron in WTF [if we keep the name, i wish for it to be changed to dodo's tribe of nubz... yes thats right DTON]. I know we have a lot of quality but theres also a bunch of great players ive played with on previous worlds such as digs dotted around the world, im sure spank will be up there too as they also have some quality additions.

Anyway I'll leave you with this.

Tribes this early very rarely last past mid-game on the US server judging from history but I know a couple players within NOHUGS and I would suggest them being a tribe to lookout for. Although not sure how good their leadership is. Just player quality. Good players and bad leaders will get you nowhere.

As for players, in the top 25 only three players I know are all decent players who look to be pp rushing.
2) digs
3) *Phenomenal*
4) ProDarts

These would be my players to watch out for.

I hope the part about NOHUGS is a joke.... If they are anything like they are on W24, then this world is about to be a quick, and painful one for them

As a forum mod here, I haven't really played any worlds seriously since W2, W14. So my knowledge of players here arnt very high. On W24 I only stuck around till about 2k points which is when I met some of the players from NOHUGS which they were performing decently at the time. Which is what my opinion is gathered from.

probably gotta watch the2sportsguy and his tribe wtf. hes a top player on 24 and his tribe is top 3. better spike his barbs =P.

Summer Sadness's farming is amazing this far.My bet is they will be the ones to watch early till midgame.
Also,the tribe Free overall seems good,there's not much competition on this world in terms of farming this far,I think it's gonna be an easy world to win by a tribe with good leadership and Free doesn't lack in that.So watch those guys,they'll surely be strong even if at one point they may merge with some other tribe.

There will be no merges as long as I am duke of Free!. Win or Lose atleast my account will go down with Free! till the end regardless of circumstances.

i can't wait to see if you are really going to do what you said...from my short experience on us server, if you( a leader of a tribe) do not merge with another tribe,then you are not american:)))
but,i am sure that if you do not merge,you will not have succes on w25.you may play till the end in FREE,but i have doubts that all members of FREE have the same thoughts as you.but,maybe i am wrong.if not, when it will happen the merge(members of FREE go to another tribe or another tribe join FREE), i will tell you: I TOLD YOU SO(PS: i love this words:))))

My recruiting process was fairly simple. Recruited players who had the same views as me. I am not a US server player. I am a .net player. My tribe will not merge. W25 will be a fun world I think. Lots of W14 winners here, Lots of W20 winners here. Lot of players from W22 here. Should be an interesting world in the end.

and maybe moi...the most competitive world in the history of us server:))).Good luck with your tribe.no matter if i will play or not for,i will take a look to FREE

Actually,I think it's one of the least competitive worlds so far.Sure,there are a lot of good players,but their percentage is so small.Looking at the top farmers I am so disappointed.I was expecting all the top 10 farmers to loot over 40k per day at this point because of the speed.Other us servers had more farm with speed 1.5 and lower.In terms of plunders though,it's alright,a lot of people are microfarming.

With 20k lcs in the world,assuming that top 100 has 80% of them,that means 100 players own 16k lcs.That's an average of 160 which is so low since the point average for the top 100 is somewhere near 850-900.So 160 lc per player at 900 points,asumming that the top 100 has 80% of the lcs,which might be a bit too much with probably around 300 players having stable.The average lc per player sucks this far,which makes me wonder about the quality of this world.

In terms of player and tribe quality,I'd rate w7 and w10 as 8/10 and everything else is at max 7 on us.

Dase you have things mixed up though....

Speed of the world, only effects how quick your units build/pits.
Farming is effected by Troop movement speed which is slow on this world.

Most those 1.5 speed worlds or even 1 speed worlds your 15x15 is within 30-40 minutes. Here on this world It's between 60-75 minutes. Thats an extra 20-30 minutes per a farm run the further out you go. With the slow troop speed this early into the world 30-40k is good. Just because Summer Sadness is killing it with 100k doesn't mean everyone else is doing below average. She is also leading the world with ODA. She's been clearing good farms not just farming.

Well speed affects farming.Because as far as I know,troop actual speed=world speed x troop speed.
So speed 2 and troop speed 1 means troops move faster than speed 1 troop speed 1.
I may be wrong,but either way,world speed does affect farming simply because barbs produce more ressies,players as well so there is a lot more to loot.
I didn't farm on this world,I just logged to make pits and some troops,but I produce around 70k ress per day with my pits only.
So the fact that except for Summer nobody passed 50k is kinda weird for me.I don't know,I just think that it would be easy to have 250 lcs by now and with 250 lcs there's no way u can loot under 2k per hour,no freaking way if you split 1 lc per village and u also farm the 26 pointers.+ considering u have 100-150 pts players near you,you can get some extra using your spears/axes to farm them.

So imo 30-40k is decent,but not good.Anyway,I didn't try to farm to actually see what I'd get out of farming,I'm just talking out of what I know from other worlds,so I could be wrong and the reason why everyone has looted under 50k is because all the farm is being split between a lot of farmers on a small world.

It is a little early for me to handicap who is the tribe to beat at this point, but I do agree that this does seem to be shaping up to be a competitive world. It should be interesting.
