Allies?

Is there a way to found out which tribes are allied with other tribes?

My friggin' leader of our still-developing tribe goes and picks a fight with a village that is part of a tribe. And now all of a sudden a huge other tribe from far elsewhere is attacking us, and this tribe is not the same as the one our leader attacked. So I'm thinking these two tribes in question are allies.

Oh the hornet's nest. :-(

Yeah, that's what I thought. I tried all I could think of and can't find.
