Barbs Attack!?

After an absence of a year (even longer on the US server), I was surprised to find one of my barbie farms was retaliating. I haven't been able to find anything about this in "settings" etc, so I must assume that this is some kind of new feature. Am I correct? And how big an attack should I expect from an otherwise empty village?

I checked world settings when bp was still active there was 118 militia active so i guess a few ppl fell for this again

Note to mods active retaliation for barbs when nobled should be a new world feature
