If you actually would like for players to join your tribe, I would advise you to give them a 'reason' to join you. There are plenty of tribes. Why would someone join yours, instead of someone else's? In this post you could have made clear why people would want to join your tribe, why you are better than other tribes, and then, perhaps someone might actually join your tribe.
Next time, I think this would improve your chances on finding someone to join your tribe greatly. Take it as advice.
