Cannot produce a nobleman

I have all the requirements for the nobleman but for some reason I cannot educate him. The requirements are 40,000 timber, 50,000 clay and​ 50,000 iron. I have well above those requirements but where it says to educate the nobleman, it says "no more nobleman can be produced". Why can't I produce a nobleman?

You need coins to do so.

Each nobleman costs a certain amount of coins which you need to have before you can recruit a nobleman. Your first nobleman costs 1 coin, second costs 2 coins and so on... 100th nobleman costs 100 coins etc etc

In the academy there is an option to mint coins. You will need to do that first.
