When you fail in taking a crest, you get another point for the next champion. It would also be fair if when someone takes one of your crests, that the losing player also gets a point toward their next champion. As it stands right now, if a player attacks another player that is attacking them they lower their own defense. It's insult to injury right now you lose a crest and gain nothing.
