Because this is an English speaking server and it is against the rules to speak in forum languages in any of the game features (profile, forum, etc.)

Because this isn't the Greek version. If we would allow it to Greek, it would have to be allowed also to Chinese or Arabic languages or... or... or... We would have to hire supporters from all around the world to translate foreign profiles to check whether they contain illegal stuff or not.
As long as the staff cannot understand the profile, it may contain some porn stories, racist propaganda or other forbidden political extreme contents etc. That's why such profiles are allowed in the native language's version only, but not in others.

Or you can do the translation and follow the rules with publishing your Greek text in English. ;-) Firstly the translations from / into some languages are horrible and the results may be nothing but "yadda yadda" to the supporters. It may work after a fashion with Greek to English. But as mentioned above, we would have to allow it in all languages then. There aren't online translators for all languages in the world at all.

Aside from the basic points of this is an english only server.... the rules also specifically state its not allowed for tribes to be formed specifically for one race or nationality. Tribes that do this will end up being disbanded at some point.

In a related question, what if only one person speaks a different language in your tribe and the rest speaks English?
Would the tribe get punished as a result?

Most likely, yes. As the duke of a tribe you have the ability to dismiss a member who refuses to post in English. Use it.

look this an english only server... the rules specifically say that all communications must be done with english only if you or your tribe use in game communications such as in game mails in game forums or in game texting of any kind and you type in languages other than english you can be punished up to having to your account banned.

It's just as easy to use skype for communication , most tribes I am in use skype more than ingame forums / mail and you can use your own language there .

Are you sure on that? Maybe it's never been an issue in a tribe I've been a part of, but as long as people aren't using a foreign language to communicate in mail or on profiles or w/e, then they're fine. IE: Forums are okay as long as it's accepted in the tribe? For instance, a group of bilingual Frenchies posting in their native tongue and english alternatively? I might be wrong, I always took the rule as it was fine as long as it didn't cause problems with anyone, which generally wouldn't in a close knit tribe.

lets see every member of the staff on this server have all bascially said over and over what the rules are... this is .us server not .net not .uk not .what ever you want..... The rules are here to be followed please do so.

No need to bring on the menace. I wasn't comparing this to .net or .uk, or what-not. I merely asked if the above situation was an acceptable bending of the rule, as the rule is meant to allow communication between all players equally and what-not, so that one party isn't talking about the other in a language they cannot understand. Hence, why I was asking if the above in a tribal forum would be acceptable. As long as it's in tribal forums, it's a matter you're not going to investigate unless it causes a problem, yes? Regardless, I get the fact that it is against the rules, and I don't care. It doesn't effect me anyway, I was merely asking for future reference should the issue arise.

all it takes is for one person in your tribe to see it and report it in the support service request system to instigate an investigation. Staff do not just go in looking for these things someone a player has to actually report it in a service ticket or mail reporting type of thing. The bottom line is follow the rules or don't play

She's aware. And she's telling you that if you want to post in Greek that you need to go play the Greek server. It really can't be made any clearer.
