so hello. I am new and I would like to know if this is the only way to communicate on this game. is there a chat of anykind on the game at all??

There is no chat feature within the game , as yet . I could make an unofficial skype chat later today though .

It will be later on this evening and I'll make a thread in w3 forums for people to add their names too .

An IG chat feature is in development for Tribal Wars atm. Hopefully we can expect it for 7.1 but who knows if it will be done by then. Until then we have IRC or Skype.

.net, DS and a few other servers all have official IRC channels where you can always find a mod. I tried to set one up here at irc://quakenet.org/tribalwars.us but there wasn't enough interest. Hopefully we can get one running when we grow a bit more.
