Although I agree with Harvest and think have no outside tribe support would make it harder in end game or even midgame I think it could be a setting that is used during start up/early game. Sending support behind a train is really not that important till about 10-15 villages so maybe no outside tribe support for the first 45 days. Making it so you can have early world wars with no fear of alliances ganging their defenses together.

Later on it doesn't mater as much and would rather 2-3 tribes supporting each other, rather then me not being able to send support to my new villages till after I cap it.

Noobs need the support outside the tribe.You can't stop them for supporting for the first 45 days.That would boost people who know the game and spend some pp on it.And knowledge+pp is a good enough boost already against new players, so if they are removing outside support, it should be removed completely, not just when it suits the vets.

It's a good setting imo, no spikes, hugging potential reduced, but like anything that reduces hugging, people will find a way around it, they will keep changing tribes until they get the support they need from all.

I like both ideas. Would be cool with Scientists idea. Personally I want no outside tribe support but I know when I get it I'm not going to be happy
