I have built up my Smithy and Barracks to appropriate levels, but it is saying that my units have not yet been researched. What do I have to do to be able to start recruiting axmen and archers?

If You Click On Your Smithy, You Will See All The Units. There Should Be A Button Or Word Saying 'Research' Or Something Similar, Click That, Wait For THe Count Down And Then You Can Recruit - Also Make Sure You Have Significant Resources

What you want to do, is click on your smithy and then you can see all of the units. Next to them a button/sign/word saying "research". click it and wait till the unit is reseached
Now go to your barracks/stables and you can now build your units-OtNight?
