Who Are the Great Players?

I want to help this world take off and be a lot of fun. In that respect it would be good to know who checks the forums and who actually knows what they are doing.

So if you are a Great player -- and I don't mean pretty good. I mean you can snipe, snipe, snipe, backtime, 350ms train, and handle your business with the best of them and have done so before... with your time this season dedicated to owning this world. -- Let everyone know it.

I'm one of the greats on W14. If you are a contender here as well, say that, let it be known, and welcome.

The larger we build our community of gifted players, the better suited our politics and wars will become, and it will be a ton of fun.

It sounds like an ego-trip. Basically most of the Snobs guys, and a couple other guys spread out around the world. But also, that doesn't make you a "Great" player. It makes you an average experienced player. These days, who doesn't know how to do these things?

I don't see why it is so hard to say, "Yeah. I'm great at this game." I'd much rather see 50 people post saying how they are going to noble each other and give everyone a run for their money. I want to play against people who think they can wreck everyone in the world.

Nuff said?

So you want us to sound like arrogant Snobs?

Alright, I can do that for you. If I decide to become more active here, I think that it will be a reapeat of world 12 where I am rank 1 by a margin.

How is that for some trash talk?

Nothing wrong with being a bit arrogant. Humility is an important quality, especially if you aren't very good... Of course, when you're right about something, self doubt doesn't help anyone, does it?

Are there any other great players on W14 who have plans on winning it all?

I think your best players are the ones running hot tribes. social and diplomatic skills are far more important and harder to obtain than the skills you mentioned earlier. I am more impressed with leadership and teamwork than individual skills. This is my first time helping run a tribe and it,s alot easier to take orders than wondering if you just gave orders that doomed your tribe lol.

Personally this is the lamest thread I have seen posted on the forums in a long long time.

First off my opinion the things you list above don't even make you great, it makes you a student of the game. You give me any noob who is willing to learn and I can teach them everything you listed above within a couple weeks.

What makes a player great in my opinion is having a bunch of spare time (or a couple players having a bunch of spare time) And your willingness to sacrifice troops for the greater picture. I bet more than anything most of the players here who consider themselves "Great" has never wasted a nuke just so a tribe member can noble a village that you wanted simply because its better for the tribe for him to noble it and not yourself.

Anyways skill has nothing to do with making you great just means you have learned how to play this game. What makes you great is Available time to play, and your teamwork.

Of course this is just my opinion but please if your going to post a thread post a thread that will lead to some intelligent debating/politics not a "I am great, you are not" kind of thing........

Who you describe is exactly who I mean to find. I want to know who is actually going to do great here and give us all their time?

Available time to play is a big part of it. Teamwork is essential. And there is a ton of strategy involved in taking over a world if there are good competitors. I just want to meet those competitors. I'm worried this is a lazy world.

Imho i don`t think that if you have every day free to play this game, and you actually spend it all staying in front of the computer makes you a great player. There are so many things a great player must develope, from farming skills, ops, attacking, sniping a mili, sending a mili, backtiming to being able to work in team, having the good sense and the character needed to play along others, and making yourself great in the eyes of others too. I like the single-player game, i co-played, i had my account co-played, of course i had better performances when i did, but i`m not looking for performance in this game, i don t like the PPs thing, i would like everybody just played for himself and then we could see who can make it and who doesnt. And paying for being better? That`s all i have to say i guess.

Everyone knows how to snipe, and Snobs isnt all great in my honest opinion. Any larger Tribe could take out the Return. Right now if they wanted to and turn him into a 2000 pt farm. It's to early to decide who the greats are on this world, so don't get to far ahead of yourself just yet

Because people nowadays want to be in the top, and forget about the troops they need. Those attacks sent on the return were so poor i had to laugh.
