World Settings and Member population

Alright, 1st off I wanna know who chose these settings. I am not sure if this is a joke, or if someone actual thought this was a good idea, but obviously they didnt do any researching before they started things up over here.

1st point, over half of .net voted that they didnt like Churches, so why would .us start off with a church world.

2nd, people were having problems paying for premium on .net also, and the description of the game is "Free browser based game" so why would we want to add the option to "pay" to reduce building time. Sorry, that just doesnt make sense to me.

3rd, there was no advertisement for this that I was aware of. I am pretty up to date on most of my TW stuff, but I didnt hear about this.

So lets fix this now, and get this server going.

Lets start off a new world with a member vote for settings (for the most part). Lets kick this payment option out of the way (if a vote is needed, sure lets do it). Then lets announce on all TW servers that there is now a .us server.

If you want me to do it, I will. I want to see this server actually work, as I am done on the .net server. Just tell me what to do and I will do what I can.

.co.uk started with a church world as well and as far as I know their settings were dictated by Inno until their third world came out. Then they got a bit of say in the settings. Probably just making sure everything works.

As for the new payment option, I going to assume most .net players won't stick around here. As I said in another thread, despite how much we hate it, this premium model has obviously worked for Inno so they're using it again.

Also, are you =EagleEye= from .net?

I am, and .net in my knowledge never used the payment option and they have done fine there. So why here?

The UK server was much more advertised and much more popular that the us server. No one knows about this server yet. Im still trying to get the word out. I am not sure how all of these people even came across it.

The only answer I can give is that like any company, they will charge more if they can get away with it.

As for why this wasn't advertised, that I have no idea about. I knew it was going to come out and when I saw the thread in the questions section of the .net forums I thought someone had leaked the info. I'm just as surprised as you are to have clicked that link and found this server here already :\

I didnt even see it in the forums. Cyran asked me to join his tribe here. I as very surprised. Thought it was a joke at first.

pretty much all worlds start with these 'Standard settings' so just get over it it aint that bad

1. This is not .net, so the poll on .net has little to do with the settings here.

2. Tribal Wars is still a free game. You can play for years without ever spending a cent, if you do spend money, it is your choice. No one has to spend anything, which makes the game free.

3. Well, do we HAVE to do advertisement? It is a US server, so that's where we advertise, in the US. There is no need to advertise on other versions or so.



I really think you have a very strange point of view in your post...
We set up a new server, and we set it up the way we find suitable. This is not .net, it is an idividual server, why would the opinions of the .net server be applied here?
And maybe we CHOSE to not advertise it?

Please take it, for what it is. This is TribalWars.US, a completely new entity, with a few new settings. If you like .net better, then there are a lot of worlds you can play there.

not totally true
if you have over 1000 villages you can't see al your villages in the list when you don't have premium.
BTW permium got toooo expensive, it doubled their price, it's just too much.
and it's not fair that paying for quicker building exists, eventhough nobody would be stupid enough to do that i guess.
But take your time to solve the barb. problem first :)
