100Ms Gap rule

Hey everyone, I can fully understand why there has been a capping on sup second noble trains i suppose that the staff are just trying to close the gap between the players that have the know how and those that do not. Now my question is if there has to be a gap between attacks why not have it 50ms rather than the 100ms as i feel that 100ms limit leaves your attacks open. Im not trying to cause any issues here i just wish to have a healthy conversation about the topic ^.^ so your thoughts?

I hate that rule.it's ruining my noble trains.

Think the enforced was done because people were pulling of less than 5ms noble trains and it could easily be done by anyone.

Yeah I agree the 100 ms rule per attack is a bit much. It was part of the world 1 settings, changing it now is something up to hoodoo to decide. Maybe with more support.

yeah.. i can get very fast trains as well & there is not much skill involved just know how. This is my point that i am making is that i felt the 100ms was a bit excessice as i know many players in the game that would snipe a 300ms noble train time and time again, therefore ruining your game abit.

This is why i said well if there has to be a cap to stop stupidly fast trains like 5ms etc why not have it at 50ms per gap thus stopping stupidly fast trains but also making trains quick enough that most will not be able to snipe. well to be honest even a lower gap that 50ms but 50ms is something that i would accept and just get on with playing and i am sure many others will do also.

I to would like it to be changed say 30-50ms or less as it will cost me some time in the game:) and because of this rule i may never get the village i would want

So bad horse when will hoodoo make a decision on this?

The decision was made before the world opened.

It's a setting that is changeable and can vary world to world.

While you may not like the 100 ms gap, it's not fair to the people that do like it and joined because of it to change it mid-world.

People tend to join a world with the assumption that the settings will stay as what they were when the world opened.

A future world may have a shorter ms gap, but odds are that W1 will not have the size of its gap changed in the future

I do see the point you are making Nauz and i understand but you said there " Its not fair to the people that do like it " <-- i have not heard one person yet that plays w1 that says that they like the 100ms gap and this was one of my main reason for creating this thread and we could discuss weather we could lower it or not.

Umm... *raises hand* I like it, I don't think opera trains should be legal because it screws up the game for the slightly less experienced players. I personally can't send any trains faster than 400 ms due to the inability to download opera. It shouldn't be necessary to download software for a game such as this which makes trains take no effort at all.

It's got nothing to do with opera, i do know lots of peopls who can send 4 nobles in less than 20ms with FF

also to note.. TW staff cannot make it illegal as there is no way they can detect it... so would be pretty much pointless.. ( as in they cannot tell what browser you are using )

Actually, detecting what browser you're using is very easy. (For an example of this go here) Detecting the automation that is possible with Opera via keyboards settings on the other hand is indeed undetectable.
