7.4 Changelog

New Features
- Added a "Limited Haul" world setting. When enabled, players will be only be able to haul a certain maximum amount of resources before their troops will no longer retrieve resources after a successful attack on another village. The formula for the maximum amount of resources that can be hauled per 24 hours is (days_on_world + number_of_villages) * X (X is currently 1000, but we may change that after live testing). How much you have farmed is based on the previous 24 hours and updates hourly. The limit will continue to raise based on your time on the world and number of villages until it reaches a maximum limit - configurable per world.
- [PA] You will now be able to filter the names of incoming commands by text from the Incomings Overview by clicking on the search icon (
search.png
) in the Commands column. Example usage: filtering for the word "noble" to find attacks you have had renamed after identifying them as containing noblemen.

Miscellaneous
- Searching for a rank lower than the total amount of players on the world will now take you to the last page of the rankings that shows players.
- [PA] Added an icon picker for quickbar items from which you can select any of the unit or building icons.
- [PA] Added possibility to choose "transparent" as background colour when assigning visual indicators to your own village groups on the map.

Limited Haul : Are you trying to make people lose their good start ups?
Or make the n00bs reach the pr0s level? Now they can both farm the same ammount of resourses...
-1000000 frome me for this...

It does seem to level the playing field considerably . That is a good thing .It means you don't need to be ultra active in order to succeed or compete . So it suits those less active or those who don't wish to farm all day .
There will still be worlds where you can farm your heart out . So just choose to play those ? Personally I'd choose only to play limited hauls now . Played no hauls on .net and it suits me just fine .
Just choose the worlds that suit you ?

There was a no haul world.

Imo yes I agree with lisa and I may try it once, but I consider myself a very good start up player and this will kill my start up.

Are you planning on turning limited hauls on for existing worlds, or will that only be for future worlds?

This is a brilliant change - can't wait to begin using this!

OMG me too! I always wanted to know exactly how many players played and after 5 minutes of clicking, last page, last page, last page, I would give up :p Yay now I can put in a ridiculous number and check! :D

World 5 may not have the "Limited Haul" world setting. The reason it ewas posted is to inform you that this option does indeed exsist. As far as I know we will not implement this setting without asking the community first, so do not be alarmed by this information.

I for one think it would be an excellent idea. No hauls? Even better! :p

Limited haul would be quite fun... That way you'd be able to re-build nukes faster then in a no haul world...
