Well folks, I'll do a tutorial on Keylogger and especially to make a secure password, mocking up the keylogger, making the hacker be sucking her thumb.

First, what is a Keylogger?
Key Logger is a computer program like spyware whose aim is to monitor all that the victim type, in order to find out your passwords to bank, credit card numbers and the like. Many cases of phishing, as well as other kinds of online fraud are based on the use of some type of keylogger was installed on the computer without the victim's knowledge, capturing sensitive data and sends them to a hacker who then uses them for fraud. There are software programs suitable to defend this type of threat. It is always advisable that an Internet-connected computer is protected by a software "AntiSpyware" a "Firewall" and one "AntiVirus". To avoid contamination by KEYLOGGERS use a good Antivirus and AntiSpyware a good, both current and memory-resident (real-time protection). A firewall is strongly recommended.
The Key logger is a program also used a lot for companies to monitor their employees do WHAT on your machine, but in many cases people use the program maliciously.

How do you get one?
The main ways to let a keylogger sneaking in your machine without your permission, is through links and fake emails. And it is not always immediate identification of a keylogger on your machine, mainly because one of the main features of the keylogger is to work invisibly, which makes their identification even more difficult.

The easiest way is by creating a password with letters, numbers and symbols.

How to detect a keylogger on my machine?
One of the simplest techniques used to detect and Keylogger is do the following:
Type CTRL + ALT + DELETE, it will open your Task Manager, Processes tab look for BKP. exe or AKL. exe, if you find the BKP. AKL exe or. exe's why you have keylogger.
* Remembering that if you can not always detect Keylogger by CTRL + ALT + DELETE.

How to remove a keylogger on my machine?
To manually remove click:
START> RUN. With this, will open a window, type regedit in it and click OK.
Now open a window called Registry Editor. Click the + next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, now click the + the subkey SOFTWARE, now click the + button to MICROSOFT now button more than WINDOWS, now the + button to CurrentVersion and finally Run search, click on top of Run subkey, BKP Search. exe or AKL. exe and delete.
Do not delete anything else because you do not start your antivirus more with Windows or another program. This Keylogger will not start over with your Windows. To remove the files generated by Keylogger is recommended that you download Antispy.

Then there is the hint, use and abuse of passwords using the SHIFT and symbols, this way you can be sure, the hacker will be very angry and in a short time, unemployed.

Lol, when I first read the title I thought you were teaching people how to make and use them...

But yeah, I'm not an expert on the matter but it seems like a nice guide :)

This isn't really that much of a helpful guide ...

Firstly, keyloggers CAN and DO detect when you press shift, it leaves a coding mark the same as any other key, so it is easily recognized.

Secondly, the process can be called anything, it is just a process, it could be called anything, including those of which you already have (itunes, or other system ones). Some of the more advanced keyloggers will also not be closable by using task manager.

Thirdly, the method of deletion you are suggesting is VERY unwise. Deleting keys in regedit without knowledge of what you are deleting is going to kill your computer. UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING DO NOT EVEN OPEN THIS.

Basically, to protect yourself from keyloggers:
  1. Make sure you know what you are downloading, and that you can trust it
  2. Do not install anything unless you are sure it is safe
  3. Have a good firewall
  4. Scan your computer atleast once every few weeks

Also, if you think that a keylogger has tracked your keystrokes, it is best to call a technician, and go to a safe computer, and change your passwords that you have used. If you logged onto anything like internet banking, make sure that you check if anything has happened.

As a programmer I can agree with Xyziz that keyloggers can (at least, any made by a worthwhile programmer) register when you press shift--or any other non-standard key for that matter. Your best bet, I would think (although I'm sure theres ways to grab the data from these methods anyways, if someone wrote a smart enough virus, or really wanted your information) would be to avoid typing: anything that memorizes your password for you or enters passwords with less keystrokes/different actions. A keyring software with automatic field completion, etc, may make you safer from some keyloggers. But in the end, common sense is your best bet: don't download anything questionable to begin with, because once your computer is infected, if you don't realize the software is there, it can do almost anything.

Can the keylogger detect copy/pasted information? If not, couldn't you save passwords on a memory card (on safe computer) and copy and paste?

Yes: a program can easily watch the clipboard for activity. Even the suggested actions above could be logged if the program was written well enough. For the most part, once a program is on your computer--if you can dream it, someone can code it.

Lol,hack someones messenger and you'll be able to steal his account,but noone from this forum will tell you how to do that because it's ilegal.Noob.
