Logic would state that the more runs you have the more you have hauled.

In a perfect world, yes. In a world where every haul isn't full, no.

Well if your average it's let's say...30 res/haul if you have 50 hauls you looted 1.500 ress.
If you have 70 hauls you looted 2.100.
He it's probably farming with 4-5 troops per village(which should be done by everyone at this stage).

Your average would obviously go down if you plunder more times. There is a finite amount of resources that is spread out throughout plunders; more plunders results in the resources being more spread out (lower average).

Yes,that's true,but why would you attack with 10 units instead of sending 3-4-5 units in any attack.You won't get a full haul either way,but you'll get a higher total.

Why do people micro farm instead of sending all they're troops to a barb?

You probably do.And if you do,why don't you send just 1?You are anyway not getting a full haul.

.us really is full of bad players. Clearly with smaller farming groups you can have more of them, thus enabling you to farm more barbs and have a higher chance of having a higher percentage of your total hauling capacity being filled.

Yes,that's what I meant.Even if it's full of bad players,barbs don't have pits built now,so even if you are the only one who farms them,you still won't always get fulll haul.So microfarming it's better.
