What to happened to tribal wars being a free game? So basically if you want to be on top in the early world where resources are hard to come buy you have to buy pp?

Tribal Wars : Free to Play, but costs lots of money to win.

I think your looking at it the wrong way.

In the end you will ether need to blow 10,000 premium points during start up or still need to farm like any other world to do well.

This feature makes it easier for bad players to pull out in front who can't farm but in the end the better farmers will pull out like always unless someone spends 10K + pp.

But you can just pay for resources using the village merchant, thats just broken. You can theoretically never run out of resources if you're willing to pay for some pp.
