Paladin Weapons

When my paladin has a weapon does it have effect on all troops from the same village as the paladin, only with the troops that are actually in an attack with the paladin, or the whole account? I cant seem to find this answer anywhere?

Wherever the paladin is, the troops who are with him are impacted. Attack, defense and support.
