Now is the time to vote for "Your New Bard"

"My Tribal Wars Life"

The alarm sounds, quickly I wake.
Get ready quickly, my tribe awaits.

I do what I can, then do my job.
The whole time hoping, my resources aren't robbed.

The work day has finished, the whole ride home I think.
I hope that my sitter has tagged all my inc.

Pull in the drive, and rush in the house.
Say hi to the family, while grabbing my mouse.

Name and then password, finally i'm in.
I send out my nobles, they're great FTW(for the win)!

All night long I run back and forth, checking on both of my families.
Man this is hard to maintain, I'm losing my sanity.

If I get time, I'll check out the forums.
The tribes and the publics, to keep from the boredom.

Oh, it's late and now I must go.
Just to start it all again, when I wake tomorrow.

My nobleman went out today
in your village he plans to stay;
you pray to gods my attacks fall,
against your puny, ram-hit wall.
What's this, you got a tribal stack?
You can defeat my great attack?
my army died
my nobles too
all day I cried
much thanks to you
I guess for now, just barbs for me.
I think its best you will agree.
But don't you worry, I'll be back
and down, to you, I'll bring the smack!
One day I'll win this big grand race,
Remember you no-life meanyface!

Early hours on a monday morning
a message from a nearby village brought a warning
a letter saying war has been declared
troops of the village gather, shaking, but not scared
and so the troops prepared themselves for a long tight
standing by one another ready for the fight

The threat is arriving just as we speak
but not a word is spoken, for they are not weak
they ready there weapons, and gather there groups
protecting each other without loosing any troops

the battle has begun and it's all out war
weapons destroyed and body's scatter on the floor
buildings are damaged from catapult attacks
there goes the smithy, farm and barracks

The village is destroyed, nothing but ruble
the nearby villagers are soon to be in trouble
this army will not stop, and will continue to compete
but know challenger insight for them to accept defeat

There was once a turtle named Cruke
Who couldn't quite send a nuke.
He sent hundred of spear
Even managed a clear
And that's when he became a duke.

Our foes have gathered,
ready to be hammered,
Decimated by our men,
Outnumbered, one to ten.

We'll take on their battery,
With all our cavalry,
Selfish little insults,
Crushed by our catapults.

Fifty thousand soldiers,
Fight against these posers,
Two weeks, from now, my Lord,
They'll be far from the core,

In a place of foreign men,
The rim, as it has always been,
A place of false misguided peace,
They'll have no chance, not in the least.

Oh Tribalwars, oh Tribalwars what have you done to me,
I've spent all my money on gosh darn PP.

I've spent all my life playing this darn game,
Instead of spending my life in an Arcade.

It sucks you back in even when you say no,
And it takes all your damn dough.

I've spent too long staring at my screen,
I thought my brain melted and I started to scream.

But don't you fret and don't you fro,
Because that is only the beginning of the show.

I've lost my mind too many times to count,
That may be due to my inability to count...

But we all love Tribalwars,
We just can't deny,

That without Tribalwars,
We would all die.

Because we had so many entries, we had decided that it required us to narrow down the answer choices. As a result, each mod chose a poem that they liked best, and that poem was entered in the poll. Unfortunately, no mod chose yours (or mine, for that matter :p), and therefore our poems were not entered.

I think I'll summarize each poem individually...

Poem 1- This is a poem about a person who's struggling between Tribalwars and his real life, and how the cycle repeats everyday. (Rhyme Scheme, AABB, slant rhyme on last stanza) Serious/Comedy

Poem 2- This poem is about a player with a big Ego who is attacking a player he knows he can beat, but because of a tribal stack, he loses his troops, and sends him hate mail because of it. (Rhyme Scheme, AABB with a 4-line stanza between of ABAB rhyme and then returns to AABB.) Comedy

Poem 3- This poem starts off on a monday morning when war is declared, and it's about how the villagers are defeated. (Rhyme scheme, AABB) Serious

Poem 4- This is a limerick with a turtle named "cruke" who became a duke by clearing someone with 100 spears. (Rhyme Scheme, AABBA) Comedy

Poem 5- I wrote it, so I will say nothing about it... Serious

Poem 6- This is about someone who's life now focuses around Tribalwars and how he's losing everything in his life because of it. (Rhyme Scheme, AABB except last two stanzas with ABAB.) Comedy

Please vote for the poem you think is the BEST, not just based on who wrote it.

Those are two different poems... Poem 5 is the war, Poem 4 is the turtle

He was pointing out that I rhymed "core" and "war" in my comment to fill in the description for your poem

Saved your butt, Ps2guy :p

I liked number 4.

I never seen this to enter so I made my own up just for fun....

Nukie run a tribe called toy
Over ran by a special computer boy
Battles are won
Losers drink rum
Even if elders are gay.

Before everyone jumps on the bandwagon and says 'ZOMG he called the elders gay!' Gay actually means happy.

adjective
joyous and lively; merry; happy; lighthearted
bright; brilliant: gay colors
given to social life and pleasures: a gay life
wanton; licentious: a gay dog
