a win is satisfying when you work for it. if you call 90 vs 25 working for it, lol you and your tribe belong on this server.

like i said above..
don't like it? break down into your best team of 5 players, find my tribe, then show me why im wrong

I'm sorry. Make it simple for me. What's that you say? Not fair?

Would you like a hug and a tissue?

LOL, no one is stating it is unfair, they are stating that the odds to which the war was won is not a milestone or a huge achievement. which it is not!!now if reform had beaten storm, that would be something to brag about.....in all honesty, cohesion, leadership and knowledgeable, active players win wars.

Well, seeing as how earlier in the world it was Dogs of War, FlM, NSNR, Friend, and a bunch of other top 10 tribes vs. IDC, and they lost, I would say this is pretty good.

A few things:
1) IDC declared on us. I have no doubt they assumed they would win.
2) When they declared, they outranked us in points & villages.

Is it a HUGE achievement? No. But it is an achievement, nonetheless. ;)

if you put some time into the game instead of the forums maybe you wouldn't have to delete your own account to play with others :p
and yes, this server is garbage smash. there is literally nothing here but good huggers.

What are you taking about? I don´t even play this world... :smack:

THIS is the true story! Like i said... DEAL WITH IT!:truelove:

when the server itself looked at IDC as an elite tribe, i knew right away this server was weak. thats why everyone has allies and hugs for the win here.
good job .US lol
me personally, i would fight and fail rather than hug and win.

Yup, this game is a lot more fun when you defy the odds, or take the hard way, and fight your way to the top, instead of allying and buddying up with other big tribes to prevent losing.

I don´t know why you didn´t left at that time then. Since you knew IDC wasn´t an Elite tribe! This is a big LOL IMO!

Deal with it! I had some problems in US.4 that lead to TBS fall and PERV win the war! People talk trash about that and i accepted (more or less obviously)... What did i do? Premade to us.7 and show people what i can do for a tribe!

I just think you are not used to the DEFEAT situation. And i really don´t think a 2 day break makes a tribe loose a war!:smack:

Again, my congrats to STORM. I think this was because good members and even better leadership!

Great fight guys. Every day i got to check the stats i was seeing your points going up near to Reform points until the day you won the WAR!:noblemen:

Cheers

If you call that a "war", I'd hate to think what kinds of "wars" you've been in. It didn't go very long, and there were barely any conquers. Sure, a war was declared, but it wasn't much of a war, really, and I find it quite pathetic to brag, or to give kudos to a tribe about that. All that really happened was the active players of Reform left and made a new tribe.

Dude,STORM won this war.
Now I'm not saying that IDC sucked, but they were defeated. Not because of rl or because of being bored, but because some tribe was better than them.
Maybe us7 or any other us world will give them the opportunity to rise again, but on world 6 they have lost.

The end.

This world has been my very first experience of TW so it's been interesting. The game itself is great fun

All this posturing and chest beating is pretty hilarious though. I play these games my way and if you don't like it ... well that is of course your choice. For myself I just want to have some fun and meet some interesting people. A good team who work together makes it fun whether you win or lose. I'm not interested in spite, backstabbing or lying. If I say 'I will not attack you, and will give warning if that changes' then I mean it. The warning will not take the form of incoming nobles.

I'm saddened to discover how unusual that seems to be though.

Anyway coming back to the point. Exactly what went down between Reform and Storm is for others to say if they wish. The upshot however seems to be a new war in which two tribes combine forces against one ... player. Me ..... the noob. Seems Storm are holding grudges. Against me? Nope, apparently not ... against someone who is no longer playing. So, for those complaining of lack of action ... I seem to have cornered the market. :D

Recent and current events have left rather a bad taste. So .... am I going to quit? Well go google 'Rourkes Drift' for the answer to that. I might not like the spite but I don't mind a fight. Of course fighting almost singlehanded against two tribes is likely to be a losing proposition even for someone with far more skill and experience than me (I've never laid claim to be especially good) but I think I can still make you pay for it, it's going to take you a while. Then you can boast about your great victory can't you? :p

No doubt I will learn a thing or two on the way as well. :D

Having said all that I've been having a few exchanges with some Storm members who are just playing a game and having friendly fun. The up side of the situation is that I'm finding out which players are really worth knowing. I'm still managing to have fun in my own way. There is more than one way to play a game. If you don't like some of my strategies (yes, I will use whatever works) ... well .... I don't care.

Awww, Firequeen...

Posturing and chest beating? Really? I certainly hope that I have not come off that way. Maybe you are referring to someone else; I don't know. Even if you are, I haven't seen it - and that isn't to say it hasn't happened - only that I don't know about it. Maybe it has been in game.

I do not know you. I assume that you are playing the Yontash account. I guess I will just say a few things:
1) Most people do not know and/or do not care WHO plays an account. I could say Pilgrim or Verrem, and they would have no idea what I was talking about; If I say Yontash, though, they know.
2) The previous player(s) did cause some problems for us. They spread out and conquered in our areas, and they also turned what was a personal alliance in to a spy.
Those reasons, though not alone, are why we are still fighting against you. As I said, most players know the account and not the player.
It is not a war, though...we are just continuing what we were already doing.

I'm sorry if that seems like spite. As I said, I do not know you, so I certainly hold no ill will toward you. This is just a war game, and the Yontash account is one of the things that currently stands in our way, regardless of who is playing it.

You are definitely right about one thing - it is a game, and it is great fun. And that is why the vast majority of us are playing it. :)

Did they?
Are you sure about that?

Who is playing an account is not significant to a strategic decision it's true. It does matter when you bring individuals into it as you did above.

If you can convince me that your decisions are nothing to do with who previously played the account then I will have no cause for complaint at all. Well actually, I may have, but not with Storm. :D

I am not convinced as yet though. However it is bringing the whole grubby business out into the open where it can be dealt with which is good in itself.

Firequeen, maybe it is me coming off wrong, but I can assure you at least for me that I am only attacking to try to grow as a player. Sure I wasnt a big fan of pilgrim or anyone else who played that account, but I am just trying to have some fun, and fun for me is having myself, and my tribe, being successful, and you are a big player, and very close to me :)

and yes congrats to storm even tho they will still deny ever working with ghost but we all know to well it was 25 (5 active) vs 90 storm and ghost. so for them to overcome those odds isn't anything great is it?

Here you go. This is why IDC fell apart. This is why JBOX was formed. Why people quit. Why people "merged" and then disappeared.

Just because I didn't internal (wasn't even OFFERED any internals) to get to 1.4 million doesn't mean I was not active. All you larger players treated the smaller players like junk. That's why Wild Orphan left, others went inactive, Caratacos is now in Storm. You made us feel inferior because we were smaller.

That's why it seemed like 5 were active. I wasn't gonna waste MY nukes so you could get another 100,000 points while I gained nothing- i tried that several times. I sent 80% of my defensive forces out as support for tribemates, and then the support was never attacked, they never sent it back so I could use it for someone else.

It is the EGOS of players like you that destroyed IDC more than anything. Try being nice to your tribemates for once, and maybe they'll help out.

I gotta say, I saw this coming from a long way off. As soon as Matt stopped being around, I knew the tribe was done for- he was the only one able to balance the tribe and work with the diversity in behaviors and playing styles and what have you.

I think that's all I have to say on that. Good luck to all previous IDC'ers, wherever you end up...

Good luck?
I seriously doubt I'm in for any of THAT!
I assume you will be joining the gangbang along with Caratacos?
I really must apologise for my stupidity in accepting the assertions that no spite or vindicitveness is involved. I have now had my BS metre recalibrated. It'shitting the stops on the end of the dial so hard now it will probably break.
