I have sent out several invitations to players to locate by me, but they never get the email or direct invitation. How does this work, and what is the relocation process once the player is currently playing and wants to relocate by me?

I'm not sure, you may have entered the wrong e-mail. But if the worlds already started you can ask them to just get on the world, get them in your tribe and then they have to restart. I think they will spawn in between your tribe then. I'm not sure though, you have to ask someone else.
