OK, so your a Duke of a US4 tribe. Time to check in here and pimp your leadership style in an interview with No Noobery. This is the first edition (more to come). Identify yourself and your tribe. Let the world hear your voice by answering these questions:

1) I lead by Dictatorship, Democracy, or Socialism? Explain your position.

2) The ONE thing I look for in a potential recruit is...... (Explain)

3) I ensure my members have troops by......

4) I think diplomacy is.......

5) My response to players attacking my players is War, Hugging, or Diplomacy? Explain

wouldve been much cooler if you interviewed the leaders of top ranked tribes(hx for eg) through mails or skypes,then copied it here.

1.Right now the leaders decide on everything but we have a special place in the forum where anyone can share ideas so I guess it's between democracy and dictatorship ...
2.When I recruit a player I check if he hit 100 plunders and if he has warlord award.Or,if he's deffensive and has no warlord award I check how many deff troops he has.
3.By checking the forum daily and see what reports everyone posts and by checking they're ODA.
4.Diplomacy is useless now BUT I can't deny here in HX! we made a nap because if you look at our ODD we have 25k and the rank 2 tribe only 9k so we wanted to take it easier for now.
5.You all know PERV attacked HX!.And you all know what my answer to that was.WAR!

I hope you made a mistake and meant 1000 plunders not 100 :rolleyes:

No,it's 100.If you have over 100 and looted 250k+ it's ok.I prefer to have 10k looted with 10 attacks instead of 15k looted with 50 attacks.If you have 1000 plunders now means you farm with 2 lc.I usually know when a village near me is full so I get ONLY 3/4 or full.Maximum robbed minimum plundered.


Still if a player can send so many attacks it's ok.I personally can't send how you or Noise and others send about 500 attacks daily.I simply don't have time and it's boring to send so many.I send this many only when I have 3-4 villages but spliting troops this much is stupid considering how active I am.For you it's easier with 3-4 coplayers.

We do it because our area sucks!even with sending 3LCs,hauls are like 10/240 .so obviously i cant wait for long and then send like 10 LCs.oh well.i guess each tribe has its own requirements for recruiting.Good Luck anyways

Actually I don't send 3 LCs like you said, I nearly have 1.5 looted with only 3548 plunders... Anyone has has AT LEAST not plundered 1k by now needs a co-player and needs to learn to use some of the best farm scripts out there

lol! Where are you Dase, that you can wait until villages fill up??? Where I am, there is competition farming also... So we have to attack villages in small quantities to not waste troops' trips... Except when we clear someone, in which case we can send more troops cuz nobody around knows yet that person is cleared :D

I'm lucky to have european neighbors.
I know when they sleep and I can farm everything at that time and they wake up with no resources to farm.Plus a player first farms the close villages.So after I know he's been logged for a few hours I know there has been some time since a player didn't attacked the villages near him.So again I send enough lc to get all the resources.

For once I have to agree with Milad. Usually at startup when your in an active area...microfarming is the way to go.


But its ok Dase...yet another fail. Keep it up I'm amused.

1) Dictatorship. I prefer to do most of the stuff myself. But I tend to get emotionally involved with my tribe. So I allow them to speak up.

2) Personality, desire to learn and honesty.

3) My members know why and how many troops they need, no need to explain it.

4) I think diplomacy is one of the most underrated aspect of the game as well as the most important one.

5) Whatever fits the situation.

btw.....all Dukes did not identify who they are in game or the tribes they lead. Read the directions...lol


So far, the best response in my opinion. Still waiting to hear from Noise.....

2. Active,Experienced Players
we look at their stats from past worlds and serves.

3. Acc Siting Make Sure They Have
1:1 or 2:1 Troops
if not the player is dismiss and farmed by a nearby tribe member. :p

4. No reason for this only in special cases.

5. War

Im not a leader in US4. But wanted to put my thoughts accross.

1 - Mainly a dictatorship. Because i like things done my way. But the tribe gets 50% of the Decision. As i like to get members involved. From small to big decisions.

2 - The ONE thing i look for in a recruit is Loyalty, I know it needs to be earned, but a tribe cannot function without loyal members.

3 - I mainly look at the Awards. Such as 1mil resources looted or 10K Hauled. And I also like to sit accounts but dont make it that important. You need to trust your members.

4 - Very useful depending on the situation. For Strategic purposes, i like to look at Diplomacy. Otherwise its very stricted and Tough to get on our Diplomacy list unless you are an enemy.

5 - I tend to give the tribe the decision about what happens. But depending on the situation it would either be war or a temp NAP.
