Yep, there has been no US server before this. Not an official one, at least. If you found an illegal server, report it to InnoGames.
Unfortunately I did report servers many, many times, but InnoGames doesn't care, apparently.

They are the .net auto maps.

.NET is referred to a US server since the majority are american players.

i doubt that there are many players from other countries. I would say that America would have a lot of players on .net and the most for 1 country but there would not be more than 50% american players there.

I would say that there is no specific "majority". Americans are probably only 30-40% of players, as most players I met on .net weren't even Americans.

Well .net is a Server for all communities. (Even though the Language, like here is English only). There is no set community there.
Whereas other Servers, people tend to stick to the country that best suites them.

I was introduced to the game on .NET back when it only had a world 1.
I played there until world 14, than picked back up with world 45...I have never seen anyone who claimed to be from any other country than the US on .net...
I always assumed that .net was the official US server. If I had know they wanted a .us server, I would have tried to fund or buy the rights to it. Instead of opening up a tuxedo company =(

.net is roughly 20% american players with another 5% Canadian

I've got to agree on that, and probably, same here. All English servers eventually become international, like .co.uk, probably only 40% of players are British there.
I was introduced to .net around the time World 10 started.
I ain't very sure, but you probably didn't ask many players where they lived.
Plus I'd like the little ex-colonies in North America to shut their asses (no offence). All your TribalWars are belong to Europe. (as well as most of the Middle Ages, rrawr)
