V8.0 Feedback.

The 1:10 ratio has been changed.
I know lots of people wanted a faster world. However with this being the first v8 world it's pretty standard to have speed 1.
There are so many new features in V.8 it should prove interesting to see how they play out. The quest system for one is quite a change from previous worlds and will require some adaptability from players who are previously used to the tutorial. Curious to see how that gos ..

Other servers even had speed 2 and unit 1... and some others had 1.5 and 1.25...etc!

Then maybe open 2 worlds one with the normal settings an make it a faster one an then this one

And I sure surely hope that not all the future worlds will be set up with this secrets of power

Speed 2 is quite a rarity, the last one, and only one I remember, on .net was w56 which was a no haul world, which makes sense. So it hardly is a surprise that this world isn't speed 2 and I don't really expect to see it here or on .net anytime soon. If I recall correctly the reason for this is that speed 2 puts too much pressure on server, tho' I'm not too educated at this.

And speed 2 on the us server wont do nothing since only about 1000 people will actively play the world compared to the 50k people on .net I think there server willd o just fine

If I send out invites and I get invited and accept will I still be placed near all the ppl I invited? Or just near the person whi invited me?

A follow up question to that is: can you accept multiple invites? Does the game mechanics automatically set people to where everyone is close to who they have invited or been invited by?

At the moment, not enough people play .us for them to consider opening 2 worlds at once. Heck, it's even a rarity on .net (hasn't happened for quite a long time).

As a side note, just because several people post wanting a 2.0 speed setting, doesn't mean an overwhelming majority of people playing .us or wishing to play over here would want that setting.

It is worth bearing in mind that a huge number of people merely don't comment on the external forums, and unless I've missed something no ingame poll has been set up to query specific settings for future worlds on .us, which means that there would be no way of drawing accurate information to suggest that a 2.0 speed world is necessarily what the majority of people interested in joining the next world(s) want.

On .ro they opened a speed 4 world and than a speed 1 world that had v8.0 so maybe .us will do this too ...Or at least make the existing speed 1.5 because this would be the third world with speed 1.We waited for w2 9 months and the speed was 1.We waited for w3 and speed 1.5World 4 speed 1...
It kinda sucks to know that w5 will be speed 1.

You can accept one invite, you can change your mind after accepting an invite and accept a different one instead, the invite you have accepted at the start of the world is the one you will spawn with.

You will be placed near those who accepted your invite and the player whose invitation you accepted.
