10 Points for Reduce the time of building by Half

Protesting is completely hopeless. If the protest isn't "serious" enough, Innogames will just ignore it.
Integrating the idea of '10 points for reducing the building time of buildings' is a decision that every Community Manager had to make. Innogames can't cancel this, because the Community Manager of this server approved for it to be integrated in the game.

Actually it was a feature that InnoGames mandated

It's on Grepolis, and is fairly easy to work around.

I've been rank 28, with rank 2 OD Total on the newest world, and I have yet to spend any money on Grepolis, or, TribalWars tbh.

If you say so...
But still, if it's not unfair for good players (because they're skilled enough to have a good rank without using the new option) or for noobs (because, with or without time reduction, they'll get nobled), it's not fair for medium-level players.

Anyway...

I don't really care for the 10 points thing. It will make this game slightly less about skill and slightly more about who has the most $$$.

I take it you've never used it.
You need skill to use it effectively.

Spamming away all day with it would end up depleting your resources, while using it sparingly would only give you a slight advantage.
I believe there is a balance to how much an effective player would use it.

I think cutting a build time from say 12 hours down to 3 would be a tremendous advantage and all it would cost is 20 premium points. People with more dough would be able to continually do that.

And...if you use the time reduction on resource buildings ? OK, those buildings cost lots of resources when they have a high level, but I think that after a while, the time reduction will be an advantage.
And then, if you use that time reduction on buildings like smithies, you'll get your noble faster. That's still a great advantage.

At the end of the day, this only changes early game play. Late game isn't about quickly building up a village, it's about troops.

Yes, but a player who uses the time reduction will get troops/nobles faster than a player who doesn't use that option. So, those players are more likely to get nuked/nobled in the early game.
But you are right, in the late game, the option won't give you any advantage.

Early game greatly affects late game. You can't say that late game won't be affected because they're not mutually exclusive.

Reducing the 10 points system will not give them troops meaning forward on, they're more likely to become point whores as they will gradually get more points quicker and lack of troops.

That doesn't mean that they'll become point whores ;) they MAY lack troops, but they may also use the resources they got by building their timber camps/clay pits/iron mines to get more troops.
It just requires some balance, I think.

Which is what I have been saying the entire time.
It is a delicate balance to use this system effectively.
I wouldn't be surprised if many players ignored it completely, except for the occasional smithy level.

I heard that on some server that has that option, the time reduction was used thousands of times per day (but I don't know if it was used with a good reason).
And I think that even if the time reduction wasn't useful, the idea of giving an advantage to the people who pay, even if it is an extremely tiny advantage, is bad. It may be completely fair in the game, the idea itself is still unfair.

I agree. While it, IMO, isn't a radical or game killing advantage, the fact that Premium players get an advantage is likely a turn off for newer players learning the game, which should be something Inno shouldnt want to do.

I agree with you. Tribalwars already lost many players, and if new players are disheartened by the time reduction...that's bad.
But Innogames wants to earn money, and some players that pay a lot are better than many players that don't pay anything.

Also, I fear that people get used to the time reduction. They'll protest when the option is implemented, then they'll get used to it, and they'll maybe pay. That's psychology.
