I saw the tribalwars master rounds have speed 200.From what I understand,we should send 500 players on speed rounds and the top 35 becames our team.Nice !
Than I guess the "team"will play against the other american servers(like .br) and the winner goes to the world masters competition.I hope this event will be made every year,or even once at 3-6 months.

I thought there was gonna be a preliminary round where 500 people joined and that's how they were to be picked?

Those on the private forum are invited to the team . At this point anyone interested is invited to be part of the potential team . There will be a 'team pick' round closer to the competition to determin the final 20 and subsitutes.
For now we are welcoming anyone who is interested to try out .

This thread actually make me laugh :lol: First of all none of you seems to have a clue how WM (World Masters) is going to run. Let me give you a little lesson of history around this event.

If I remember correct it started in 2007 or 2008 as SW (scandinavian Wars) and has run it's course every year as a competition between Norway, Denmark and Sweden. The last country had the speed server where we played. This years tournament is right now in progress under a new name NM (nordic masters) where Finland also has been invited. This years tournament between now 4 countries has the purpose to test the new masters servers and have aroused the largest debate in the tournaments history. Originally on the wiki in early September the European teampick was in September and is right now postponed to late October. Because of the debate it probably will not take place before November or early 2012. Unlike what your TWteammember tries to make you believe there is at the moment no plans of making any coaches/trainers/managers or whatever hand picking their favorite team. The tournament has evolved to include EM (European masters), AM (Asian masters), WM and a few more. But the tournament is still made to set further focus on one of TW's main objektives. Socializing. Right now they are trying to set up these tournament and making them playable for everyone.

Ps. On a last minute note: If nothing has changed in management of this tournament, then I would say more or less anything that isn't posted by a CM isn't valid. Even supporters and (super)moderators isn't told a thing that every one else can't find. A few CoCM's that is put in place to be a future CM might and just might get involved.

Pps. What makes me puke the most is that it is actually a teammember who is arousing this, when he is supposed to be loyal to his CM... I'm still wondering why he hasn't been fired or just told to lay off! Oh wait your CM has already replied in here though I have 3 standing CM's refusing to comment on this event because the tournament is most likely to be announced on ALL forums at the same date :smack:

This looks interesting, but after looking at who are representing .net and .co.uk, we are gonna get eaten alive...

That said, I would still love to put the hurt on speed legends, so count me in :D
(btw is anyone interested in joining a few speed servers to scout out the competition?)
