Mass Debating Competition [Discussions]

The time has come, for the Finals of the Debating Competition.
As an added twist to the final, this will involve EVERY reader on the forum!

We have, contesting for 3rd and 4th place:

E2ekiel VS sorryyougotnuked


The prize for 3rd place, is 200 premium points!


However, now we come to you all want to know about - who is going to be the supreme winner of this Debating Competition?

The Finals, competing for 1st place, are:

Matagot VS SpearNuke


The prize for 2nd place, is 400 premium points!

The prize for 1st place, is 600 premium points!



So, the prizes have been announced.
The battles for 1st and 3rd place have been announced.

But, did I say there was a twist? I think I might have done ;)

The judges are no longer involved in the results of this competition!

The Battle for 3rd place, will be decided by our very own Community Manager, Aliyah!

On the other hand, the Battle for 1st place, will be decided by Public Poll, and YOU get to choose your Champion!

The Topics of debate for both battles remaining, will be going out via private mail, as per usual, within 10 minutes of this post.

The Date of the opening posts needing to be in by, is the start of the 17th of November.

The Date of the rebuttals needing to be in by, is the 20th November.

The Date of the final rebuttals needing to be in by, is the 23rd November.

The voting will commence after this, with a 3-day Poll.

I will say, after having read the arguments on both sides though-out this Competition I've been very impressed, I think many of the newer players might benefit from this kind of thread, as a way of identifying the different styles of play. Well done to all who partook. I look forward to the final debate! :D

Oh and on a side note, when I first read the title I had a little chuckle... i mean come on, "Mass-debating"? Tell me you hear what I hear.
