Interesting.
I take a couple of days out and everyone is growling and snapping.
Not to mention swaggering and chest beating.
Just a minor point or two.
Storm may or may not ultimately succeed but when they plan a major op to follow right after a major op on the same tribe by someone else (nap was it?) then managing to take a village or two is hardly surprising so not much to boast about. I do think that this should be made apparent though.
Personally I do not believe that the winner of this world will necessarily be the one with most cause for pride. You all thought NoMo was too small and weak and inexperienced to stand against you, let alone all three at once. That means that in a sense we cannot lose unless we cave immediately which is quite obviously not happening. We do not HAVE to win this world, just hold our ground as long as we can.
History is full of examples of those who won honour even when completely wiped out. Rourke's Drift is just one of those. The American players can I am sure think of a good example that is closer to home.
Not that our situation is so bad as that at present of course. On present showing it will take quite a while to achieve that ... if at all.
Perhaps though we would all benefit from changing the tone of this. We're supposed to be having fun here. This works better when the protagonists are willing to give credit to each other.
